About this ObjectShaun Quincey's rowboat TASMAN TRESPASSER II in which he rowed solo across the Tasman Sea in 2010 at the age of 24. The only other person to achieve this feat is his father Colin Quincey who completed the same journey but in the opposite direction (New Zealand to Australia) in TASMAN TRESPASSER I, also in the museum collection.
The rowboat is fitted with GPS, an EPIRB and a solar panel.
